the show

With a violin in her hands, Lucia could rattle the soul. The child of a brilliant composer and a gifted musician, her talent and future was infinite. Everything changed after the sudden death of her mother. Unable to cope, Lucia withdrew and Carver, her father, became overbearing. The music that once kept them close began to pull them apart. With nowhere to turn Lucia packed up and hit the road with a friend, leaving her father, her pain, and her violin behind.

Many years later, Lucia lives an empty and quiet life. Her world is once again shaken when her violin arrives in the mail. Determined to set her father straight, she returns home only to learn Carver is near death. Lucia and Carver try to face their rocky past, but old wounds re-open and new issues arise. After a troubling encounter with an old high school classmate, Lucia has no choice but to face her past. They confront their difficult history, the music that connected them, and the secrets they kept.
